Terms of service
Plain terms for a simple service.
These terms apply when WeWantTyres supplies and fits tyres for you as a consumer. They are written to meet the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and nothing in them takes away rights the law gives you. Last updated 4 October 2026.
1. Who we are
WeWantTyres. We are a mobile tyre fitting business serving Greater London.
You can contact us through the contact page.
2. How a quote becomes a booking
The quote journey on this website does not place an order. It prepares a WhatsApp message with your tyre size, location and preferred timing. Nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp, and nothing is booked until you accept a quote.
Step 1. You send us your details on WhatsApp. Step 2. We reply with the tyre options we can supply, the total price for each, and the earliest time we can fit them. Step 3. You confirm the option and time you want. Step 4. We confirm the booking in writing on WhatsApp. A contract is formed at step 4, and that confirmation is your record of it.
Because we fit tyres at your home, workplace or roadside rather than at our premises, the contract is an off-premises contract under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Section 4 explains what that means for cancellation.
3. Prices and payment
Every price we quote is the total price for the tyre or tyres named, including VAT, fitting, balancing, a new valve where needed and disposal of the old tyre. We do not add call-out or travel charges unless we have told you about them in the quote before you confirm.
If, on arrival, the work needed is different from what you described (for example the wheel is damaged or a locking wheel nut key is missing), we will explain the difference and give you a revised price before doing anything further. You can decline the revised work.
Payment is due when the fitting is complete, by the methods we confirm on WhatsApp. We do not take payment through this website.
4. Your right to cancel
You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day on which the tyres are fitted (for the goods) and 14 days after the day the contract is made (for the fitting service).
To cancel, tell us clearly by WhatsApp or letter. You can use the model cancellation form below but you do not have to. Sending your cancellation before the period ends is enough.
Fitting before the 14 days are up. Most customers want tyres fitted straight away. If you ask us to fit within the cancellation period, you are expressly requesting that we start the service early. You will still be able to cancel the goods element, but once the fitting service has been fully performed you will lose the right to cancel the service, and if you cancel part-way through you must pay for the part of the service already carried out. Tyres that have been fitted and driven on cannot be returned as new; we may reduce any refund to reflect the loss of value caused by use beyond what is needed to check them.
Refunds. We will refund you within 14 days of your cancellation, or of receiving the goods back if later, using the same method you paid with.

5. Your legal rights
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 the tyres we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, and the fitting must be carried out with reasonable care and skill. If they are not, you may be entitled to a repair, a replacement, a price reduction or a refund. These rights sit alongside everything in these terms and nothing here limits them.
For advice on your rights, contact Citizens Advice on 0808 223 1133 or at citizensadvice.org.uk.
6. What we will do
We will supply tyres that match the size, load index and speed rating your vehicle needs, fit them with the correct torque and tyre pressure, balance the wheel, and reset or advise on the tyre pressure monitoring system where the vehicle has one. We supply new tyres. If we ever offer part-worn tyres, they will be inspected, marked and sold in line with the Motor Vehicle Tyres (Safety) Regulations 1994.
If we cannot keep an agreed time, we will tell you as soon as we know and offer a new time or a full refund of anything paid.
7. What we need from you
Please give us accurate details, including the tyre size read from the sidewall, and tell us about anything unusual such as locking wheel nuts or a spare-saver wheel in use. The vehicle must be somewhere a van can park alongside it safely and legally; we cannot work in a live traffic lane, on a motorway hard shoulder or where parking enforcement would stop the job. Any parking charges or permits needed at your location are your responsibility unless we agree otherwise in the quote.
8. Old tyres and waste
We take old tyres away and dispose of them through a licensed waste facility, in line with our duty of care under the Environmental Protection Act 1990. If you would rather keep the old tyres, tell us before we start.
9. Complaints and disputes
If something is not right, message us first and we will try to put it right quickly. If you are not satisfied with our final response, The Motor Ombudsman (www.themotorombudsman.org) is a certified alternative dispute resolution body for the motor trade. We will tell you in our final response whether we are prepared to use them for your complaint. Using ADR does not affect your right to go to court.
10. Liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything the law does not allow us to exclude. We are not responsible for business losses, as we supply tyres to consumers for private use.
11. General
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and you can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales; if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings there. We may update these terms; the version on this page when your booking is confirmed is the one that applies. How we handle your personal data is explained in our privacy notice.
